Wyatt Dagit

Founder & Guide

All eco-spiritual direction sessions and guided hikes at Northlandr are led by Wyatt Dagit, founder of Northlandr.

Wyatt is a board-certified chaplain with more than two decades of experience offering care and counsel to people in times of crisis. He currently serves as a hospital chaplain in the Greater Minneapolis–St. Paul area and has held senior spiritual care leadership roles in both hospital and hospice settings throughout the Midwest.

Wyatt holds a Master of Divinity degree from the University of Chicago and completed a Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) residency at Rush University Medical Center, where he received advanced training in healthcare chaplaincy. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa.

Alongside his clinical work, Wyatt’s personal and professional life have been shaped by long-term engagement with the natural world. He is a certified wilderness survival instructor through the Nantahala Outdoor Center and has undergone ecotherapy education through the TerraSoma Ecopsychology Training Institute. His writing explores the intersection of spirituality, mythology, ecology, and human experience.

At Northlandr, Wyatt brings together formal theological education, clinical chaplaincy, and embodied relationship with the land to guide individuals in nature-centered spiritual exploration.
